Welcome to Toss Hawaii! We're dedicated to making your home a happy place, so you can experience happiness in your daily life. Toss is a tech-enabled startup in the realm of home services. We boast a team of skilled cleaners on the beautiful island of O'ahu providing thorough cleaning services tailored to your needs, following either our 50-point or 61-point checklists, meticulously designed to ensure your satisfaction.Home Cleaning ServicesSupply Requirements:Our cleaning partners come prepared with all necessary supplies to execute our detailed 50-point and/or 61-point checklists. However, please note that certain items are not supplied by us, including trash bags and toilet brushes.Presence During Cleaning:
While your presence is not mandatory during the cleaning process, we highly recommend a walkthrough post-cleaning to address any concerns, ensuring your complete satisfaction.
Special Requests:
Feel free to make special requests! However, please be aware that additional fees may apply if the request falls outside the scope of our standard checklists. We'll inform you promptly if this is the case.
Pet Policy:
We adore your furry companions! However, for safety reasons, we recommend securing your pets during the cleaning session to ensure the safety of both the cleaning professional and your pets.
Gratuity:
While tipping is not obligatory, it's greatly appreciated. You have the option to tip before and/or after the service. Your cleaning professionals receive 100% of the tips.
Post Cleaning:
We mandate walkthroughs to minimize incidents and guarantee our customers' complete satisfaction, protection, and safety. If you're absent from your property for the post-cleaning walkthrough, by booking with us, you consent to a video walkthrough conducted by our cleaners and sent to you via email to ensure your utmost satisfaction. We'll remove the videos from our servers once its sent to you.
In the event of any issues, it's imperative to notify us via email within 24 hours of the cleaning.Billing and PaymentBilling Timing:
Your card will be charged on the day of the service.
Payment Method:
We operate on a cashless basis and accept only card payments. You'll be prompted to input your card information during the online booking process.
Rescheduling Fees:
We understand that life can be unpredictable. To avoid fees, please reschedule at least 48 hours before your service. A $15 fee will be incurred if rescheduling within 48 hours.
Lock-out Fees:
If your home is inaccessible using the provided instructions, or if you're not present despite indicating in our booking process that you would be, your booking will be cancelled and you'll be charged a $75 cancellation fee for standard cleanings and a 40% fee for deep cleanings and move in/move outs.
Cancellation Fees:
We encourage cancellations at least 48 hours before your scheduled booking to avoid fees. However, if you cancel within 48 hours, a $25 cancellation fee will be applied. If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled booking, a $75 cancellation fee will be applied for standard cleanings. A 40% fee will be applied to deep cleanings and move in/move outs.

We make your home happy, so you can be happy.Toss is a tech-enabled startup in the home services realm, led by women and owned by Indigenous Hawaiians.Our team on the island of O'ahu provide cleaning services following either our 50-point or 61-point checklists, tailored to the service chosen during the booking process.



Home Cleaning


Do I need to provide cleaning supplies?

Our cleaning partners are equipped with the necessary supplies to follow our detailed 50-point and/or 61-point checklists, with a few exclusions.We do NOT supply:
- Trash bags
- Toilet brushes


Does Toss solely use chemical-based products?

We prioritize natural and effective cleaning. Over 90% of our product lineup is plant-powered and cruelty-free. A clean environment, with fewer chemicals, means a safer home for you, your loved ones, and fur babies.


Do you provide partial cleaning services?

Currently, we exclusively prioritize whole home cleaning and do not offer partial cleaning services.


Do I need to be home for a post-cleaning walkthrough?

We mandate walkthroughs to minimize incidents and guarantee our customers' complete satisfaction, protection, and safety.If you're absent from your property for the post-cleaning walkthrough, by booking with us, you consent to a video walkthrough conducted by our cleaners and sent to you via email to ensure your utmost satisfaction.We'll remove the videos from our servers once its sent to you.


Can I make special requests?

Certainly! You're welcome to make special requests. However, please be aware that if the request falls outside the scope of the work outlined in our 50-point or 61-point checklists, additional fees may apply. If the cleaning professional is unable to perform as such, we'll make sure to let you know.


What if I have pets?

We love your fur babies! However, strangers may set off alert bells for your pet(s) as they aren't familiar with your cleaning professional.For safety precautions, please make temporary arrangements to secure your pet(s) during our cleaning session to ensure the safety of the cleaning professional and the thoroughness of the cleaning process.


Are tips required?

While tipping is not obligatory, we highly encourage it if you feel inclined. You have the option to tip before and/or after the service.During booking, you'll be prompted to decide whether to provide an upfront tip, which will be charged to your card collectively.Alternatively, after the service, you may choose to give a cash tip directly to your cleaner.Our cleaning professionals keep 100% of their tips.


What if I found an issue with my cleaning?

In the event of any issues, it's imperative to notify us via email within 24 hours of the cleaning.



Billing


When will I be billed?

The card on file will be billed on the day of the service.


How are payments made?

We're currently operating on a cashless basis and only accepting card payments. When booking online, you'll be prompted to input your card information to secure your booking.


Are there rescheduling fees?

Life happens, we get it, which is why we strong strongly encourage you to reschedule at least 48 hours before your service.If you reschedule another appointment with us within 48 hours, there will be a $15 fee incurred.


Are there lock-out fees?

Bedding can be changed + made if linen/sheets are provided. Otherwise, it'll just be made.
Any appliance/object (mentioned or unmentioned) taller than a standard refrigerator or unreachable from a two-step stool cannot be cleaned.
A toilet brush must be provided and placed in an open area in the bathroom for a toilet to be cleaned.
Make sure that trash bags are easily accessible, ideally in the kitchen, for replacing the old ones throughout the property.
If a client's oven is equipped with a self-cleaning function and they request cleaning services for the interior, it is required for them to utilize the self-cleaning feature before the scheduled appointment. This step ensures that any heavy grease buildup is addressed, facilitating an efficient and optimal cleaning process.
